Win Stuff Results: Bring 'em Young
Watching that game left me satisfied. Early on, it became clear that BYU would struggle to move the ball on our defense. Then the offense took the field and used plenty of and appeared balanced, methodical, and frankly unstoppable (for the first half, anyway). Oh yeah, and they were ranked.
While exceeding expectations makes for a great day, it does make for some bad predictions. So far, the winners have either guessed the score correctly or been off by 1 point, but no one predicted a Michigan shutout today. AA2Denver had the foresight to predict 31-7, and may have been correct had Harbaugh pulled his starters on defense. It didn't matter, because the next-closest guesses were 31-9 and 31-10, so congratulations!
The world's smallest violin is being played for Steve333, who "hoped" for 35-0 but predicted 27-24.

I left the house early this morning and didn't make a pick for the first time this season. My thought leaving the house was "Screw it, I should just put something crazy out there like 38-0". Lo and behold the result. Maybe I should just stop posting my guesses to ensure a similar result.

I hedged my bets and guessed a BYU win because by the time I posted all the reasonable (at the time) scores had been selected. Oh well!
Also, internet high five for a fellow NERS graduate! (I'm guessing, based on the screenname...)

I felt that we would destroy them all week. I almost wrote 42-0 but thought Harbaugh wouldn't run up the score.
