Amazingly, despite some shit that went down last weekend, then hit the fan, we are still in 3rd place at 6-6-3 (2-3-3-1), though tied with WI. MN, 4-6-3 (2-2-2) is in a 3-way tie for 5th (or last) with MSU & PSU. So dig out your license to kill gophers.

A couple slightly OT questions before the puck drops for tonight's game:

---Did anyone else see that beauty of a game-winning overtime goal by Dylan Larkin last night to beat the Maple Leafs? Larkin's game has really blossomed this season as he's becoming the kind of player a franchise can build around, as we all expected.

----I'm wondering what are the Michigan sections for the January 5th outdoor game at Notre Dame, as I would like to purchase tickets soon.  Anyone else ordered up their tickets yet?

Honest question on Minnesota’s first goal, how can their player stand behind the goalie, literally in the crease, and poke the puck in the net for a goal? What’s the crease rule?

I thought I caused both gopher goals, because I just turned the game on.  I go to watch FCS championship football —- go Maine — and Michigan equalizes.

Tell me when it’s over.

2-2 after two.

I didn't see who it was, but a D lined up a big hit, taking himself out of the play and leading to a MN 2-on-1 break and eventual goal.

[Edit: Actually, it was Norris. Hughes got caught deep in the zone, Norris went for the hit, rather than dropping back to help Cecconi after the turnover.]
