days until The University of Michigan football team plays in a THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME!!!!

*pictured is Jareth Glanda. For those that don't remember, he caught a tipped pass on a fake field goal in the Sugar Bowl 2012 that resulted in a first down. He was the long snapper. #neverforget

Bihl and Molk were the last two good centers that Michigan had.

Kugler should be the starting center on this team. Unfortunately, this will be his third year on the team and this past spring practice was the first time he actually received college coaching.

ready for this season, other than the obvious upgrade in teaching these young men better skills, I think the overall mentality that JH brings is going to be great!! Gone are the days of patting your enemy on the back, helping him up, apologizing and being a "real nice kid" time to kick ass again!!!!

not specifically referring to that incident no, but now that you mention it, yes that was a nice thing to do and showed a lot of class. On the other hand you see what being nice has gotten us lately. I GUARANTEE Harbaugh would have flipped out on Gardner for not being a leader of his own team and rallying his guys and taking advantage of the time while the hurt player was being attended to.

What about Harbaugh makes you believe that he doesn't preach good sportsmanship?  His mantra of turning these players into good men would require that.  Just because you're a warrior on the field doesn't mean you're a jackass.  It is just a game after all.

matter of sportsmanship in my opinion. I am pretty sure other players weren't called jackasses for not going over to the injured player. When your head coach is wandering around clueless and doesn't know what else is going on I guess why would Gardner not go over to him. All I'm saying is I think Harbaugh would have grabbed / yelled for Gardner to coach him up or to tell him get his fellow players ready for going back on the field. I think Gardner is a great guy and in my opinion Hokes undying loyalty to him is part of what cost him his job.

Great heads up play by Glanda. Still have that Sugar Bowl on tape. I may have to pop it in later.

It will be hard to forget Glanda's clutch grab, and indeed, I think the ability to play some spot WR duty probably should be something we look for in future longsnappers. I mean, you never know until you try it out, even by sheer accident, right? Now that we're in that slow slide towards fall camp, the anticipation is growing.
