We're still trying to schedule a 12 year series rotating between Georgia, USC, Florida and Texas - all at home because none of those teams deserve a return game.
More seriously: I'm assuming UConn is a done deal until I hear otherwise. Too many confirmations without negation from either school.
Especially not USC or Florida. We've given them plenty of return games during the last few bowl seasons
My best friend is pal's with a current NBA, ex-Duke, player who told him two nights ago at dinner that Duke was playing UM in the opening game 2010. For what that's worth
but I was at a party last night with a guy whose brother-in-law's fiance's barber has a niece who is dating a cameraman in the Pac-10, and he's already contracted to travel to the Big House for the 2010 opener for a UofM-Arizona matchup.
I know it's the off-season, but I shudder when I see these types of unsubstantiated rumors. I have a hard enough time evaluating the veracity of an anonymous poster without weighing the credibility of the poster's friend's friend who presumably heard something from some unidentified source which caused him to make a statement which out of context made it appear that Duke was still in the running for the opener as of two nights ago.
Nothing against you, jtmc, I usually love your posts...but /pullhairout.
You're friends with the janitor too?
COnsidering the OP asked for "any theories or explanations"... It think my post titled "second hand rumor" was responsive.
If my post was an original post... then I should have been shot. But it wasn't
When someone asks for a "Theory" then it calls for any 2-cent ideas/rumors/etc that are floating around. How you decide to interpret that info is up to you.
Appears to me maybe you put WAY too much thought into second hand rumors and theories. Philosophy major Captain???
for guessing my major those many years ago. Kudos!

You're confusing "theory" with "hypothesis."
I'd rather have UConn.
Please anything but duke, I'd rather play adrian college.
U Toronto!
I heard from a very, very trusted source (Hint: Ends with 'ater') that Steven Threet is transferring back to Adrian College, so that'd be an interesting matchup.
Masturbater?
Totally just figured out your source.
I don't give up my sources, so I'm not going to say yes or no.
does uconn have a football team?
especially considering the last two years they've won more games than UM
Doesn't UConn have to move another game to open up that date? They may have a bit of paperwork to do, but this is probably a done deal.
are working contract details out, so no announcement. They will announce when it is finalized (read: legal contract signed).
I know a guy who knew a guy who knew a guy who was friends with a guy before he died. He said we play Temple.
This joke has already been used in this thread. It's not that funny anymore.
