Didn't get a chance to watch.. was it a nice pick or a terrible pass?

Always good to see former Wolverines do well in the NFL.. but for Stevie I'd much rather be watching him playing in the Maize and Blue for one more year.

Nice to see the good stretching fundamentals he has learned have kept him limber enough to make INT's in the NFL.  Hope he makes the cut.

for UM players in the NFL today. Mesko kicked the crap out of the ball, a couple popped up in the Carolina game, Arrington looked really solid for the Saints, Stevie doing his thing, Brady looking... Brady'ish. very solid day of former winged helmets

Agreed.  I think with his athleticism, he could make a nice career for himself as a special teamer and occasionally helping out at safety.  While his reads weren't always great, Stevie is certainly a gifted athlete, which I think can help him a lot at this level.

Probably should have knocked it down, but ok.  Here's the link (couldn't embed)

Personally I agree with the good doctor above me, Brown is going to be one of the best special teams players in the league.  Not sure how he will end up at safety but hopefully he learned something about taking good angles last year and can make it work.

For one of the most derided players that I can remember, he certainly has turned it around. Last season probably helped him relax where he didn't have as much responsibility and just let him play. Imagine if he could have played that position all 4 years? He had a good senior year and I hope he has a long NFL career. Will be a special teams monster at the least.

Nice to see Stevie having a chance in the pros.  The more you watch him, the more you realize how he was just miscast at UM in a defense that was in disarray.  Wish him the best.

I also remember, before last year started, that Mel Kiper said something about how Stevie Brown coudl be drafted and everyone basically scoffed.  Maybe the Hair knew something we didn't.

Stevie Brown is my favorite "redemption story" at UM.  He had his bad plays at Michigan, but he worked his ass off, made the best of a bad situation, handled himself with class, and richly deserves any success he gets.
