He was a VERY good player playing the 4. He may have been a better 3, I'll give you that. But "sucked it up."
Even if you're exaggerating that implies that he was bad. If that's the case, how is he now headed early to the NBA?
Some of you are ridiculous...he may not have reached his potential, he may have been frustrating at times...but sucked it up is overkill for even someone who going overkill.
I'm probably wrong and giving the dude the benefit of the doubt, but I read "sucked it up" in the sense that he did something he didn't really want to. Like when you suck it up and go to dinner with your girlfriend's parents instead of watching the Tigers game.
