Not going to read it as it is also a waste of time article. Mullen just beat our ass on NY's day and played most of the SEC elite down to the wire. Oh, and they are ranked in the top 25. Pretty F'ing good if you ask me.

Especially considering it's not a team who usually does this sort of thing. It's fucking Mississippi State. Maybe a decent performance for Florida or Alabama, but he's doing an incredible job for that particular school.

He makes some fair points, even if he is completely wrong. I think the crux of the deal is that if, as 'BR writer' suggested, Mullen was to receive a smaller raise, he would have been in a ripe position to be hired by a larger brand program. That makes it a good deal more than anything else, if they can keep their guy. The fate of small programs: find success and a good coach, then fall victim to the poach.
