Scouting Report: Alex Bars
This week's scouting report is on Nashville (TN) Montgomery Bell offensive tackle Alex Bars. He's obviously the brother of redshirt freshman OG Blake Bars. I think Alex, who could play everywhere but center, is a significantly better player than Blake.

FWIW: At the Outback Bowl I was on a fishing boat with Alex, his dad and his brother Brad who plays for Penn State. At least on the back of a fishing boat it was between Michigan & Notre Dame although he mentioned Georgia as a possibility which I havent seen mentioned anywhere.
Dad (who played for Notre Dame) said he encouraged his sons to make their own decisions and not be influenced by what other family members did. It almost sounded to me like he (dad) would prefer Alex to play someplace other than Michigan, Notre Dame or Penn State so he could forge his own legacy outside the shadow of anyone else.
