RR and football team grades
I apologize if this has already been discussed on the board but I recently got wind of a story that RR claimed in a press conference that this year's team had the highest GPA in Michigan football history or something of the sort. The daily then asked where he got this information from and he couldn't come up with the relevant evidence?
This is not an attempt to bash RR I was just curious whether anyone else had heard about this

you're about two weeks late on this.
Cliffs as I understand them:
RR asks academic center for highest team gpa ever
Academic center doesn't keep the number but guesses at it. Doesn't tell RR it's a guess.
Football team beats score.
RR boasts about highest team gpa.
Freep issues FOIA and finds no such records are kept. Calls RR a liar.
Moral of the story a I see it: Football team has highest gpa as estimated by the Academic Center. Woohoo go team!!
Moral of the story to Freep: RR is dirty dirty liar and makes kids practice too much.

I recently moved down south and was back in ann arbor this weekend for the first time in a few months. Someone relayed the story to me and I didnt catch it on here a few weeks ago
