OT: UNC Football players don't know how to park...
Well it seems that UNC has it's own issues with players getting parking violations but they make tOSU's look like child's play...
North Carolina has released documents showing a group of North Carolina Tar Heels football players accumulated more than $13,000 in parking citations over a 3½-year period.
WTF?!?! 13 grand!!!!
In this environment, you best believe that those tickets will get paid.
by a tattooist or photographer.
those tickets add up. I remember being in summer school there and the parking tickets ranged from $10-25 depending on how fast you went to go pay it off.
What, they couldnt find somone to acquire parking passes?
They only asked about 11 players and, per the University, not all of them got citations and there were a total of 395 citations... So that ends up being 40+ citations per players (unless I'm reading this incorrently).
"The total amount of the citations was $13,185.
The university said in a statement that not all of the 11 players requested by the media had received tickets."
You getting a few tickets a year is comparable to a couple guys getting tickets. Not every player on an 85 man team for three straight years.
When I was running late to class, I would have parked on top of a handicap person in order to make it on time. Now get the media back to OSU, thanks.
The media can cover both. UNC under Butch Davis is a potential recruiting threat. I'd prefer them to be nuked by the NCAA.
The tickets start at $40
Garfield, from Philly would put a BOOT on it. Pay up Bitches!!!!!!!!!
This should make Terrelle Pryor jealous:
One player, 93 tickets, 9 plates, 5 cars in less than 2 years.
Nobody knows how to park in North Carolina.
when I moved to Chapel Hill was that the driving is impressively awful.
I know its off topic but I didnt feel this deserved an entire thread (If I can even start one yet)
Cliff Harris (Oregon CB) racked up $8,827.50 since 2008. You would think he would eventually learn how to park
I work for the campus police at a D3 school, and I've seen individuals get over $2000 in tickets in a single year, with most of it often coming in one semester. there will always be college kids that don't care about the rules.
