OT: Olympics

Unfortunate to see Ohno end his individual career with a DQ. Canada looks to be setting up a rematch with the US for the gold medal game on Sunday

one thing. Arrogant and pompous is another. You constantly throw little barbs into your posts that are completely unnecessary. For instance, in one of your above posts about the Ohno DQ, you make that statement that he was trailing and "outclassed." Now, if you want to argue that he pushed the Canadian skater, fine. I'll respectfully disagree. However, to say that the holder of 8 olympic medals is "outclassed" by anyone is a joke.

Ohno is the 9th ranked in the world at that distance and the guy he pushed was number 2. The Korean number 3 and the Canadian winner number 1...he was not the class of that field. Not even close. He would have been the class of that field in Torino; don't let revisionism dictate his abilities today which, in comparison to the guys he was following, place him 9th in the world.

British Columbia is certainly a beautiful place, but I have to chuckle a little at the promo ad when Sarah McLaughlin says "It doesn't get any more West Coast than this" - while wearing a sweater at the beach.

What do you think the medalists do with that little flower bouquet they get during the ceremony? I'm sure they're some kind of expensive plants, but they look like dandelions.
