OT: NHL Commissioner Board to Vote on Lockout

As much as I'd miss hockey, the Red Wings roster will be worse than last year so a lockout wont be the end of the world.

Should go back to the original 6 anyway.
Nobody watches the others.

Except for the people who watch the others, of course...

A lockout/new CBA could help us. If the cap goes down, teams are gonna be looking to dump salary.

That being said I forgive you but espn would be a way better source. There is a part of me that wants the cap to come down. I saw a stat like 18 of the teams would be way over if the newest deal went through. Detroit would be in really good position in the coming years if that were the case. This year is going to be an interesting year to say the least.

Gary Bettman needs to eat shit and die.

As much as I hate that turd, he's doing what his owners want. He's their representative although he is at fault for pushing the NHL into a lot of these markets.

The Devils lost Parise. Our friggin Captain. What do we do to replace him. Nothing. Let the season burn.

Who's gonna blink? Or would they rather take this to its absurd conclusion?

I hope they resolve the issue, but it's not looking good. Football is only played on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. After baseball ends...what will there be to follow at night? :(
No way I'm watching the NBA if the NHL locks out. No way

The Clash of the Titans. Fehr trying to prove he can finally stand his ground in a labor dispute and Bettman being Bettman. Looks like another winter without the NHL.
At least we will have great basketball and hockey teams to watch in the interim. Go Blue!

At least if a season is cancelled/delayed, hopefully the Winter Classic will get pushed back to 2014, when I can actually go.
That being said, I think they will come to a compromise eventually. Nobody wants a second lockout in 7 years.
