We better not draft a QB this year. I think Goff would be a great option for the next few years.

Use the draft to stock up on more talent for another year, but I think in the 2024 or 2025 draft, a QB will be needed.

We better not use a 1st round pick on one. I could see us using a 2nd or 3rd on a guy like Bennett from Georgia or Hooker from Tennessee. We need a better backup for Goff.

Bennett shouldn't be drafted. His arm is limited and he's small.

If you mean as an immediate replacement, I agree.
But I have no problem if the Lions take a QB later in the draft as a development project for down the road.
Otherwise, this draft has to be all defense.

I really like what the Lions do with the tight end at the goal line. 3 TDs to Zylstra last week and 2 to Wright already this week.

What a jackass. I'm surprised he's not from MSU. Not only did he keep doing the snow angel (even after glancing at Foles briefly), he then did a "nighty-night" sign after he got to the sideline. Celebrating an opponent's injury is disgusting.

It seems like NFL teams today are kicking more field goals on 4th-and-short in the red zone than they have all season. I think the trend of almost always going for it in those situations is falling out of favor. I think teams are realizing that they’re harder to convert than they previously thought.

Chicago's defense is really bad, and so far we're taking advantage. It's a huge testament to the players and coaches to play this well after ostensibly blowing their playoff shot last weekend. Home fans deserve a win here!

Nice to see the Bears and the Buckeye QB getting the business today. I'm not invested in the Lions but they do have the chance to become pretty good if they keep their nucleus and beef up their defense especially the secondary. They definitely need a good draft and I wouldn't waste it on a QB because I think Goff is about as good as what is available.

McCaskey is to the Bears as Ford is to the Lions.
The last major football decision George Halas made was to hire Mike Ditka. Then he died and left the team to his daughter. The Ditka decision got them success in the mid 80's but they have been largely mismanaged ever since.

Our miracle run looks all but dead. Yeah, we can still make it if both of those results hold, but if the Packers are still alive they'll be much tougher to beat at Lambeau and Seahawks seem unlikely to lose at home vs the Rams.
