OT: Michigan Jersey...which one should I get
So I need to update my Michigan jerseys; I have a navy Woodson one and a white Edwards one both from Nike. I want to upgrade to the new Addidas ones but don't really know which ones to get and am asking for your opinions. I am not really a fan of the semi-fake white Addidas ones as they look like a cheap Wal-Mart knock off. What do you guys think? When you see someone with that jersey do you think "dude why didn't you just spend the extra $20 and get the real thing"? Anyways, I am leaning towards #21 in blue and #4 in white; I would appreciate anyone's thoughts...
I got the $75 white replica, it looks close enough to the real one and has the sewn-on numbers instead of the screen print. I always just go with #1, since UM's the best of all time, but that's just me.

....Adidas Replica...I am pretty pleased with it. It was my first Jersey purchase since 1996 when you could still buy Russell Michigan Jerseys...got the #2 in early Sept. of that year when Chucky Woodson was a sophmore with some promise...turned out solid.
I like #21 based on history as well as current roster with tim Buick-ba-Tookah and Desmond
Blue. I actually liked the Nike whites before the switch, then adidas put the yellow apron straps on and... oh well.
I have faith in adidas, but it always seemed to me that Nike always followed more of a "less is more" philosophy which meshed nicely with a more traditional jersey design. Actually, let me rebut myself. Different colored shoulders, NikePox, whatever that tribal tatoo design was... well, Nike does better when well reigned in by the powers that be.
This non sequitur now finished, I would follow exmtroj and get the nice replica with tackle twill rather than the cheaper screened version. Blue, though, of course.

#1,2,3,7,8,10,15,16,20,21,23,32,56,60, and 86.
I'm sure you can guess most of the guys who those numbers belonged to when I bought or was given the jersey as a gift... My personal favorite might be the 56 in blue, naturally. To this day I can kick myself for not buying Wheatley's #6 when I had the chance, but that's another story.
Almost added the #4 last year, but Moe's was out of my size before Christmas. Thinking about a #4 blue or maybe even a #5 away if anyone asks me what I want for the holidays this year.

For the record, some of them are a bit too big these days, and I'm considering selling 'em off, if anyone's interested. #2 "WOODSON" NOB, #10 Brady Era Away, #32 A-Train Home, etc.

FWIW, I only have a blue #4 I bought at Moe's last fall. It's my lucky number.
How big is too big? I can prop up a XXL or XL for da joizies. I'd gladly reimburse ya for any of those fine specimens, if you make sure to wash 'em first
are XXL, although I think the Woodson #2 in blue is a very roomy XL. It was part of Nike's throwback 'Field Generals' collection and does indeed have his numbers and name on back in tackle twill.
The #60 was a gift from Eastbay, also XXL-- the name on back says "Wolverines." Hey, she meant well.
I'll have to go back and check the sizes to be sure, and see which ones I can part with. I'm a much leaner guy than I was 10 years ago, so they're just not being worn that often.
AND, they're all in good condition-- I really only wear 'em during gamedays and the occasional 'Support Your School' day at work.
I got the full authentic number 2 jersey bout two months ago. Pretty cool because on the inside mgoblue is sewn in and RR's quote those who stay will be champions is sewn on the back of the inside pretty tight looking thing if you ask me.
How can anyone ever attribute that quote to RichRod. Helen Keller knew that it is Bo's quote and she is a woman.
