OT: Dublin Bar (sorry, but I have to)

Submitted by Michigan Shirt on

Okay, don't hate me for doing this (I know it was done to death last week), but does anyone know of a either a UM or ND bar in Dublin, Ireland where I can watch the game next week (either fan bar will work as I can talk crap to ND fans). I have checked the stickied thread here and posted my question there, but it doesn't get the traffic that the main board gets. Mods feel free to pull this if you want as I know you have been having issues with OT issues, I just need an answer fairly quick so I can figure out where I can go before I leave.

P.S. - I have never embedded a link before so I am pasting it here in case it didnt work.

I posted this question on another site (Maize n Brew) and got two possible locations although they were just sports bars, if someone can confirm that would help.

Woolshed Bar on Parnell St

Doheny & Nesbitt’s about a half-mile east of St. Stephen’s Green.

Yeah I know, but I never received an answer when I posted on the sticky thread and that was a month ago, also most people that just go through the MGoBoard quickly are not going to be as likely to use the Recent posts link (total assumption and not based on any evidence). I am just trying to cover all my bases.

I'm guessing you will struggle to find a bar that will have the game because it is not being broadcast in Europe. ESPN America, which is available for subscription in Europe, is showing Georgia vs South Carolina (5pm BST), Miami vs OSU (8:30pm BST) and Penn State vs Alabama (1:00am BST). ESPN is showing Oregon vs Tennessee (1:00am BST). Your best bet is going to be an internet stream.

I hope you're wrong just because I really want to watch this game. I am hoping that because the broadcast will be NBC and because ND will be playing Navy in Dublin in 2012 that one sports bar in the city will be able to show the game. It seems really crazy that when in Europe there is only one channel to watch American sports and that being ESPN America. I am not saying you're wrong, I just hope you are so I can watch the game.
