I laughed if that helps with your decision.

Edit:  I now feel bad since this might have been an actual medical situation.  Although she was no hospitalized she was seen by paramedics after that happened.

This was an update on her situation:

"Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning."

First of all, good show. It's important to check these things out. I hope she recovers completely.

Second of all, bah, now I feel bad for laughing. Fee on thee!

Third of all, if we find out she's all right and recovers and gets over her aphasia, can we laugh again?

And you shall receive...

"KCBS reporter Serene Branson, who has sparked a Web sensation with her live post-Grammy Award report in which she is talking gibberish has told her bosses that she is feeling fine and that her mangled speech was not indicative of a serious medical problem."

mini stroke,  acutally it's more common than most people know.  I'ts very unusual to be caught on live televison.  She'll probably recover quite well.

Was her stroke caused by the heavy burtation?

/s Seriously it's not funny this just came into my head and I'm not going to deprave those without souls from a laugh (I'm looking at you, gingers).
