Niagra @ Michigan on Fox College Sports Atlantic Tonight- 7:35
Just a heads up for those of you who have a sports package or a dish, #4 Michigan hosts Niagra in hockey tonight at 7:35 and the game is televised on Fox College Sports Atlantic. Hopefully Michigan can start the home schedule off strong with a win tonight.

I didn't think that the first UM hockey game I'd be able to watch this year would be against the Purple Eagles, but so be it.

Inside College Hockey ranked them 33 (out of 58 DI teams) in their pre-season rankings. (http://www.insidecollegehockey.com/5Polls/0910/great58_0801.htm) So far this year, they won their exhibition game against York, and have lost to Colgate, Clarkson, and St. Lawrence. I remember we hammered in them in the playoffs Porter's senior year when we should've won it all, & that's about all I know.
EDIT: Sorry, they tied Colgate. Lost their other two games.

Hard-fought win against a scrappy Niagra team. Red's not going to be happy about yet another defensive lapse.
Let's at least take away some positives: the power play looked good, Hogan looked solid, and this team can definitely create around the net. Let's carry that into Saturday at BU; they looked vulnerable against the Irish.
