Horrible situation. I think they should've given Stallings one more year to figure it out.
Firing a coach in 2 years is not a good look at all especially when you're in the ACC.

The swift downfall of Pitt basketball is a stunner. They've gone down so far so fast. They'll be throwing walk-ons out there against Duke and UNC and the rest. They won't win any games next year.

Day 4 of all day basketball! Actually got a few things done around the house this week/weekend so it hasn't been all pure slothery. C'mon Boilermakers. Haas is missed but Haarms is filling in fairly well. Butler I've a feeling may take this. They're a good squad.

I'm not sure I like Butler's decision to go small here. Haarms was visibly struggling and they gave Purdue a chance to get him out.
Best scoring lineup, apparently. Was working, think Painter has to get Haarms back in to protect the rim.
They need to run their stuff--the Edwards 1-on-1 possessions have been their worst.

It'd be one thing if he was missing his shots at the end of the clock but he's dribbling himself into trouble ten seconds into the possession. Maybe that stuff works when Haas is rolling to the rim but it's not working today.
Carsen Edwards has been awful in this game.
Vince on the other hand has been terrific.
Purdue is moving on.
