Nothing would make this weekend better than Michigan WBB beating Baylor and M$U losing to Syracuse. GO ORANGE!

Pittsburgh’s basketball team has now lost 9 transfers after they fired their coach following an 0-16 conference record. They also lost two recruits so they have only two players returning - who scored a total of 27 points this year. They are going to be the Texas State Fighting Armadillos of Basketball next year.

Running Jamie Dixon out of town might not have been a great idea in retrospect. Losing almost their entire roster from an 0-16 conference team might not be a bad thing, a new coach can promise immediate playing time to recruits and can build his program from the ground up. It can't get much worse than it was this past season.

Day 4 of all day basketball!  Actually got a few things done around the house this week/weekend so it hasn't been all pure slothery.  C'mon Boilermakers.  Haas is missed but Haarms is filling in fairly well.  Butler I've a feeling may take this.  They're a good squad.

I'm not sure I like Butler's decision to go small here. Haarms was visibly struggling and they gave Purdue a chance to get him out.

They stand around a ton with lots of one-on-one. Carson Edwards was taken out for bad decisions. Haas helped them have other options, and get more open 3's.

They need to run their stuff--the Edwards 1-on-1 possessions have been their worst.

CEd: 4-17, 1 asst., 2 to's

rest of team: 21-33

It'd be one thing if he was missing his shots at the end of the clock but he's dribbling himself into trouble ten seconds into the possession. Maybe that stuff works when Haas is rolling to the rim but it's not working today.
