National Championship Celebration at Crisler - UPDATE

Submitted by chrs5mr on January 12th, 2024 at 8:18 AM

Since there isn't a post specifically about the celebration at Crisler and some info is buried in the Parade details.

Initially when I went to buy tix at 1pm yesterday, the event was showing sold out.  I heard that later in the afternoon they released more tix.

I went in this morning and bought a ticket.  Looking at the map, there looks to be about somewhere between 550-600 tickets (all but 1 are in the upper bowl).

If you have priority points, you can buy them now.  For those that do not, they will go onsale to the public at 9am this morning.

I really wanted to fly up from Texas for the parade (was born and raised in Ann Arbor), but a combination of the bad weather and not having anywhere to stay (I no longer have family in Ann Arbor) means I won't be able to be there

if someone could get a piece of memorabilia from the event (even confetti) I'd love to pay you for it! I always dreamed of going so it really sucks, but I can't really be upset because I'm too happy we won the natty :)

Wind gusts of 45mph and a real feel of below zero at parade time so bundle up!

I actually wouldn't be surprised if they cancel the parade given the weather.

Could the weather be similar to The Game in ‘21?   If so - that might add to the cherished memories - and, maybe they’ll open up Michigan Stadium for “a stroll” for interested fans.

After a half hour of the site crashing at 1pm yesterday, I did manage to get upper bowl tickets.  But I still haven't received the email with the tickets that you actually download yet.  Has anyone received the email with their actual tickets yet?

I tried to get seats for my dad, my wife, and a high school buddy, but I could get to checkout fast enough to secure them before someone else had picked one of those seats and finished the sale faster. By the third try, they were sold out. Oh well- werestill gonna go to the parade, and then we'll have a fun dinner afterwards.

I bought three tickets yesterday, upper bowl nothing spectacular, after wife and I discussed the crazy idea of a quick road trip from mid Atlantic to do the parade and celebration (20 hr round trip..we love this football team!!).   Not 100% but something has come up and now looks unlikely.   Don’t want to leave any empty seats so once we are sure we aren’t going I’ll be happy to donate to anyone who wants to attend if we can figure out how to transfer.

If interest I’ll post again this evening if they are available.

Edit: As noted it will be early evening before I know for certain but I will go in order of the responses below if we don’t need them.   I see the tickets in the account and looks pretty easy to transfer so will email you around 6p or so to see if still interested.   Thanks!!
