A player has to do what he feels is best for his future. If Weber thinks going somewhere other than Michigan is the best move, then I respect that.

At the same time, if a player doesn't want to play for Michigan, fine. We'll find someone else to replace him.

its not illegal to be a MORON is it. now is the time to want to be a Michigan recruit because were about to get a real coach. Jesus people have some FUCKING perspective....if a recruit is THAT short sighted to decommit at that precise moment, then GOOD RIDDANCE.

If we hire the right coach Harbaugh or Miles than we will get some good recruits to replace him. If we hire another dud coach it will become a huge problem with years of Michigan being in the middle to bottom of the B1G. We'll see what direction the University wants to go in! But if they destroy our football program then it will have harmful effects on many other University athletic programs!

“The main part is I like winning and didn’t think Michigan could get the job done,” said Weber.

Forget this kid, does not belong at Michigan with a quote like this.

A commitment means zero, he's not bound to the university and the university, as demonstrated by the Mullen douchebag move, is not committed to him. This is a kid who is looking out for his future. If Michigan no longer fits his plans, then good luck to him. To everyone who say "we're going to get a real coach," so that he should stay committed, as of Nov 22, Brady Hoke unbelievably, is still head coach of this football team. Florida and Kansas already fired their incompetent coaches, we've done nothing but dither around about whether to keep ours It's disappointing that he assessed the situation and decided it doesn't work out well for him but he doesn't owe us anything. Can you really blame him?

Lol at this message board. Michigan is not a good team. Why stay committed to a lost cause. Jumping shit doesn't make him a Benedict Arnold, it just means he has enough awareness to keep his future as his number 1 priority. Best of luck, hopefully you'll be receptive to Michigans next head coaches pitch.

I did not see this coming. The other schools he was considering already have pretty big-time running back commits in his class, right? I thought that's why he chose UM. Well, it looks like we aren't out of the running for him when he commits again, like we are for Roseboro or Kirkland or whoever. It's all about who our next coach is. Sigh.
