L'Alpe d'Huez
Didn't see a thread on the front page on today's stage. Contador obviously too proud to lay down. IMO Evans set the stage for yellow tomorrow. I just don't think Schleck has enough in his tank. And huge props to Team Europcar. Voeckler/Roland will never need to pay for a beer again.
Finally, as an American sports fan, you just can't over-appreciate the Liggett/Sherwin combo. I can't imagine a tougher sport to have to try and call live.
EDIT: CRAP DID NOT SEE THREAD BELOW. It wasn't on the frront page, and when I click on page 2, it won't display theads. Anyone else have this problem (running Chrome)?
Are the announcers on tv good? I have been watching online from work, and the british broadcasters are on point. They get really excited too, it's great. They also said the French commentators were going berzerk when Rolland won.
You are listening to Sherwin and Liggett. They are BRILLIANT!
I was hoping this was the name of a newly offered recruit.
that pic is wrong on every level
... my next Halloween costume. I also think I'm going to start signing those electronic signature pads at the grocery with "L'Alpe d"huez"
If you can get it approved the first time it'll probably work for you.
And by Evans to pull back from the mechanical problems, and by Andy to stay on Contador's wheel during the first climb.
Evans has a big advantage over Andy in the TT Saturday, but both of them have had to make huge efforts yesterday & today, so it may be even as to who still has any energy left in the legs. Odds have to favor Cadel, however, because he's a much stronger time trialer. Frank Schleck may have more in the tank than either. This has been the most dramatic & suspensful tour in quite a while.
Agree completely about Phil and Paul--they put almost every announcer you can name in the shade.
A la prochaine!
I'm using Chrome and clicking on Page 2 doesn't display anything for me either.
Title does not give much information, and neither does the OP. For all I know we could be talking about upcoming plans to overthrow the British Parliament.
Looks like you are the only person in the thread having a problem, guy.
Wow. The OP's post is really confusing for someone like me who doesn't follow whatever it is that's being discussed here : ( ???
L'alpe D'Huez is probably the most famous mountain in cycling.
I am also running Chrome and have this problem somewhat frequently. I usually just close the browser and go back into Mgoblog after opening another one - works sometimes, but is not guaranteed.
You forgot the OT part.
