Has to be a mistake, right?
Uh, the PSU game is listed at 8 PM EST, not the Iowa game. There won't be a night game until ND game in 2011.
"Has to be a mistake, right?"
"Yep."
I had failed to notice that the thread title was a more different question. :)
Visiting CFN is a mistake.
Is there anywhere else with aggregated TV info?
...that the Homecoming game will be a night game. The official schedule still has it as TBA. http://www.mgoblue.com/sports/m-footbl/sched/mich-m-footbl-sched.html
There’s also no way UM would allow a 2010 night game supersede the anticipation and notoriety of the 2011 ND game, couple that with Iowa being the opponent and there’s no way it’s happening.
Does this mean we won't be wearing white pants?
Isn't the first official night game against Notre Dame in 2011?
Yep.
Best returning defensive player: LB Stevie BrownYeah, not going to happen. Perhaps someone should tell the Raiders who drafted Stevie Brown as their last pick that he miraculously got an extra year scholarship to stay with the Wolverines.
Terry Foster is reporting that DeShawn Sims will probably enter the NBA Draft and not return to Michigan next season.
Donovan Warren likely to play for Jets, not Michigan.
I plan my fall weekends using this link...it updates as the networks update their schedules. Haven't seen a mistake on it in 2 years. Its from the Bayou.
Because it too says:
Iowa at Michigan | 7:00 p.m. | (ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2) (HD) |
I guess I should've checked that one before posting...my best guess is ABC is erroneously telling folks its a 7pm game since we know it can't be a night game.
Anyways - still use that link...past performance is the best indicator for predicting future performance (HR told me that once)...it has been spot on last few years.
Thanks for catching that one though...wait until the season starts to use that link should have been my disclaimer since I have never used it in May.
Continuation of topic. Don't want to post the link b/c its the Freep, but they put up today that the Big Ten announced Oct. 16th's Iowa homecome game will bet at 3:30pm. So case closed on that one.
...is confirmed via mgoblue.com, and the game will be televised on ABC.
The University of Michigan Athletic Department in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference office and its television partners announced today (May 5) that the Wolverines' homecoming game against the University of Iowa on Oct. 16 will start at 3:30 p.m. EDT. The gridiron match-up with the Hawkeyes at Michigan Stadium will be broadcast nationally by ESPN on ABC.
