how close were we to landing terrelle pryor??

I have only been following recruiting for a short time now. And I was wondering how close was UM to actually landing TP? Were we ever the favorites? Or was he just doing the Will Campbell thing in vice versa??

He was Ohio State from early in the beginning. I think his dad was pushing him to go to Penn State and Pryor delayed his commitment out of a courtesy to his dad, but he never seemed interested in them either.
