Game Day Rituals | in pictures

Curious what sort of ceremony is involved on game day for other MGoBloggers.

Here's a look into a typical football Saturday at my house:

Coffee

(yes please!)

Verify schedule, set to record

(For sanity.  Former Comcast customer...lots of scar tissue.)

Turn on Game Day

(sorry it was too early for Erin photo)

Family uniforms:

(check, check, check, check)

Flag ceremony

(bonus: annoy ND family 3 houses down)

Position winged talisman

Beverage inventory

(Boddington's: great.

One Boddington's: time to buy more beer)

Schedule feeding:

<sigh> Wishing there were a Cottage Inn nearby

Countdown to kickoff

(D will take good angles, D will take good angles)

I've started my own flag ritual this year which consists of taking the flag down from the nails above my television and hanging it on the outside of my patio fence.  Nothing glorious, but it's worked for four games this year.

I always take my dog for a walk while wearing my Michigan jersey on Saturday mornings.

I have to apologize because last week I didn't actually wear the jersey, which I'm certain is the reason we struggled against UMASS. This week I was sure to wear it though.
