this guy writes. We can't praise his negative views towards the Spartans and then condemn his negative views towards Michigan.

Every single time someone mentions a Freep article, you mention that we shouldn't even be reading it. Do you not get bored with saying that same thing every single time? Each time I see your logo, I think, there's that guy who hates the Freep so much that he mentions it almost every day.

As someone who has a lot of MSU friends/family members, I've heard the gamut of excuses/rationalizations for this incident. They've gone like this:
1. They were misdemeanors
2. Winston & Jenrette were the only ones that threw punches
3. Mark Dell and BJ Cunningham didn't do anything, they were just there (What's your source? Mark Dell's Father!)
4. The state news made the incident seem much worse than it was
5. There were no ski masks, which discredits the whole incident
6. Only one person went to the hospital for minor injuries
7. Or my favorite - turning the incident on us, like Michigan had something to do with it. That's Sparty specialty
Bottom line, 9 players just don't get charged with assault and battery by happenstance.
There were SIX 911 calls, for god's sake!
I have love for some Sparty fans, but you gotta admit, they are just so stupid. Dantonio beats Michigan twice and he's the patron saint of east lansing all of a sudden and can do no wrong.....
I can't wait until we run this guy out of East Lansing and we get to knock of Dan Enos as their HC

I have an old HS friend of mine that was bringing up how bad Michigan was due the the Fab Five...blah, blah, blah. I was like dude, that was a long long time ago, have you seen the news on MSU lately...no response. Made me pretty mad. Yes Michigan was wrong it what happened, they got punished and have just begun to recover, but you gotta man up and admit that Dantonino is really making a mess of stuff in EL. I don't get how you can ignore so much of reality.
