Did you guys get the e-blast from the Univeristy about the UConn tickets?

Have you seen our basketball team this year? Not exactly setting the world on fire.

We should all refuse to go until they win a National Championship.
(By "all" I mean you with the tickets in the first 5 rows... seriously, just give me your tickets, k thanks.)

but even in the ellerbe days michigan could at least sell out the duke game... this game should be sold out, UCONN is a top 25 non conference team....

Definitely not setting the world on fire but heck the OSU game was arguably the best $10 I've spent for a sporting event. I'd come out to see UConn if I were in the area.

the b-ball team was playing uconn this weekend and thought you were talking about the football season opener.

An inconsistent UM team with lots of talent should GUARANTEE a sellout. Given how lopsided our home/road play has been this year, anyone who claims to be a even half a fan should be in Crisler going nuts to maximize that home court advantage. Everyone knows this is a winnable game (see 2nd half of PSU game). A lot will depend on the atmosphere in Crisler.

While I certainly hope we have a great turnout, how is the second half of a game against a .500 PSU team evidence that a game against a top 20 UConn team is winnable?

The same way an OT win over Savannah State indicated we would later beat Duke at home.
Ya gotta believe!

this could very well be a defeat. If the team depends on the atmosphere at Crisler to win something is seriously missing. That atmosphere didn't help against Northwestern and neither did the 17 point lead the team had in the second half. Reality is there is supposedly a lot of talent that just doesn't seem to play well together. Bad shot selection, lack of defensive effort, little to no rebounding, and a serious leadership void. As exciting as last season was this one has been just agonizing, losing to teams (IU & NW) they have no business losing to.
It is also a NFL divisonal playoff football weekend and football is king. That being said I'm stil taking my kid to the game and he's a huge Cowboy fan(?).

i'm coming down from Big Rapidss for the game this weekend and was looking for cheap tickets on craigslist. I saw someone trying to sell a pair for 40$ a pop and almost spit out my Dr. Faygo in laughter.
Rest assured i'll be there for 20 bucks, screaming my head off.

Michigan's capable of beating almost any team in the country at Crisler, save for probably Kentucky and Texas and that's about it.
If you're a true fan you'll come out and support them.
