Anyone who thinks there is a CIL curse is an idiot. Anyone who disagrees with me is an idiot. Also, religion is stupid. /Michigan Arrogance

tournament talk already? I say have cil, it'll be cool. besides, did big M win with a cil against the Dukies? I don't think it's as much of a curse for non-conference opponenets.

Liveblog abstinence must be maintained through the BTT and, just to be safe, Selection Sunday. The nefarious influence of liveblogs on the actual NCAA tournament is unknown, though.

Is this ban on people's religious opinions a Brian Rule, or a Guy Who Doesn't Matter Rule? If it is a Brian Rule, I will respect Mr. Cook's wishes. Until then, chill.

do we need to get our shorts in a wad every time someone claims that they believe (insert religion here) is something we do NOT agree with? Arguments for or against any or all religions should not be offensive toward people. If you disagree with my opinion, it does not make me an asshole. It makes me a guy that has different beliefs than you do. Some websites ask their members/posters to refrain from religious discussion. In those cases, that is the choice of the webmasters, and should be respected. But if the webmaster does not ask or require that, then there is no reason that a discussion about religion should not take place any more than an apples vs. oranges discussion should not take place.

If there isn't a rule against disparaging people's faith here, I'll request that there will be one. Comments like "you're one of those people who still go to church, aren't you?" don't belong in a forum like this. Feel free to post offensive garbage on MLive or some other trashy forum.

Offensive is in the eye of the beholder sir. Nearly everything that can be written can be or will be offensive to someone on this great big planet. If you start censoring things that offend people, then you eventually will run out of things that you CAN post. Honestly, it offends me that people are offended about things like this. Does that mean that you saying that you are offended should be censored also? Not at all. I have beliefs about religion, but I also have a very very strong belief that people should be able to disagree amicably, even about religion.

11th seed does seem a little bit low. I think a lot hinges on where we finish in the conference tourney. If we win one, we should be somewhere around 10 or 11. If we can win two, I can see us as high as 7. If we win the whole tournament (unlikely, I know), can we get to a 5 seed?

"you're one of those people who still go to church, aren't you?" is like saying, "you're one of those people who still drives an American car, aren't you?" wait, is that better or worse? chill the fuck out, sweatheart.
