He lives in the Carolinas and I remember how much he liked seeing his grandson play when BH had a radio gig.
Mack Brown is hiring and could use a recruiter.

This right here. Position coach under Mack Brown at UNC would be great for Hoke. I hope it happens for the guy. Feel badly for him.

Might be time for him to just take his millions and retire. Or if he really needs to be around the game, go find a job coaching DII/DIII or HS football where there is no pressure to win, but rather just be competitive and graduate your players. I don't see him commentating on a regular basis. His "aw shucks" demeanor just doesn't make for good TV, I think.
Not saying anything that hasn't been said about him thousands of times on this board already, but Brady strikes me as a guy where the game has just passed him by. 20 years ago, yeah, he was on top of his game and commanding a title-winning DL. But the game of football was different back then. It's changed, and he hasn't changed with it.
If I were him I know what I'd be doing right about now. Taking my severance pay from the Panthers (and Tennessee, and Oregon, and Michigan) and planning a trip where I'm flying the whole family, first class, to Bora Bora for Christmas. Putting myself in the penthouse at the Four Seasons and having butlers/maids waiting on me hand and foot. The man has been fired more in the last 3-4 years than most people get in their entire life. Whether he admits it or not, that's a huge toll to take on a person's self-esteem. I hope he takes time to get away from the game, lick his wounds, and treat himself. Not like he doesn't have the money.

The Carolina Panthers have some issues. But those issues - they are greater than Brady Hoke.
If anyone is familiar with the "Three Envelopes Joke" --- this is obviously just Ron Rivera using the contents of Envelope #2.
He better win some games soon, or else envelope #3 is straight ahead.

Bring him back as DL coach once Mattison retires, he’s a great recruiter and loves the uni.

Fall guy for the Panthers collapse. Folks here in NC are hitting the nuclear button big time with their beloved Panthers. I think it’s funny they’re stinking it up.
Of course, now he can go interview for the App State job that just came open.

Brady Hoke has the only Michigan victory over Ohio State in the last 15 tries.
