We need to push very hard for Devonte Holloman; I believe his decision came down to between Michigan and Clemson. We need help at the safety position very badly. Craig Loston looks to be going to Texas, Texas A&M, or LSU. Looks like Clemson boosters finally got fed up with good ole' Tommy haha.

At first I thought it was Bobby. I just assumed Tommy had been gone since tha Alabama game.

I really half expected this to be what the thread was going to be about. Kudos to you West Texas Blue for thinking deeper than fire rodriguez.
but before i get accused of this, i did read tacopants post as sarcastic, not him actually thinking that.

I didn't think coaches were fired mid season very often...

Have you read the quotes by the players? It doesn't seem like Tommy Bowden was too popular with his team, especially Cullen Harper. When did Tommy Bowden blame his players?
Remember, RR was OC for Tommy Bowden at Tulane and Clemson. What we should all take from this is pretty much nothing, except maybe that RR has a place to bolt to if Michigan somehow drives him out after only one season. (Give him at least another two years.) As for Bowden himself, I can't say I'm the biggest fan. Clemson gets the most talent in the ACC after Miami and FSU but they can't win the big one. I don't like that he cut Ray Ray McElathbrey. (To be fair, that story might be a little more complex than I think.)

Bowden benched Harper during this week's loss, which might tell you why Harper was so happy about the firing. Bowden's not exactly his favorite person at the moment.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if RichRod hired Tommy Bowden as an assistant.
