Big Ten Power Rankings

Submitted by WolvinLA on

ESPN puts out an intra-conference ranking each week.  This week we are ranked #10, and the only team below us is Indiana, who we don't play.  The author concedes that he doesn't think Michigan will be that low at the end of the year, but that they have their work cut out for them to make a bowl.  Shit.

Adam Rittenberg is a tool and an idiot and should NOT be a journalist for anyone...proof? look at 'Wisconsin won't fall into trap at Big House' on the mgo.licio.us, "Michigan is in last place in the Big Ten" apparently non-conf games count towards the conference standings...

Well, in his defense, they are rankings, not standings, and since there haven't been conference games yet, non-conference games is all he has to go by.  That's the point of rankings, they are subjective, rather than standings which are purely objective.  That said, this ranking is subjectively moronic.
