Beilein
What I find the most satisfying about the current state of Michigan Basketball is Novak. His performance provides a feeling that I don't think Michigan fans have had for a while:
Feeling excited about any Beilein recruit, regardless of recruiting hype.
Merritt also adds to this somewhat. It is obvious that Beilein is very good at identifying the talent that he can best coach up. That is remarkable after watching players recruited by Ellerbe and Amaker fail to develop. (With some obvious exceptions.) When those guys took a lesser rated recruit you could be sure that that player wouldn't do squat for the team. I now will be excited for the debut of any and all Beilein recruits.
Gibson also has impressed me a lot. That kid has sweet moves for his size. He may develop into a real threat if he can increase his range a bit.
I am really excited to watch this team. This is great therapy after the football season. Go Blue!
PS - Great job by the icers as well, putting Sparty to further shame if that's possible.

1 dlineman 3 linebackers and 1 stevie brown. then 6 guys to follow stevie brown and make the tackle when he misses
