Any reports on Moose this week in practice for Molk?

Submitted by iawolve on
I for one am extremely concerned about having to make this move at center considering that the line was really starting to come together. 4-6 games is a real kick in the ass for us in this regard. Wondering if we have any reports from practice this week about the transition? At least we get 2 games before Iowa to help him call shifts.

yea, im also hoping that moose has been practicing snapping the ball and the snap count a lot this week. I would hate to see us turn the ball over/lose field position due to some bad snaps. Anyone know if moose has played center at all in his years, or if he's practiced at the position before this injury?

What guy in his right mind would be "hoping that moose has been practicing snapping the ball and the snap count a lot this week"? Do you want him to get tired of snapping? Sick of it? What if, by chance, Rodriguez employs this new "have a guy practice at the position he plays" strategery you suggest and it doesn't work? How will you feel then, knowing that Rodriguez read YOUR post, and did what YOU told him to, and Michigan lost?

according to RR, Moosman has had quite a work at center... he didnt seem concerned about it as he may have been otherwise. I like how RR's offense is full of interchangable parts, where guys can fill in at different positions if need be. Its like one big Transformer.

On David Moosman and whether he'll be the starting center: "Yeah. He had a good practice yesterday, he'll be ready to go and he'll start at center. Rocko Khoury is still in there, and Tim McAvoy will be back. He can play both center and guard."
