Looks like the band director and the MMB are planning adjustments for social distancing measures as well as performing for potentially smaller crowds at the home games this season. There is also speculation that the band might not travel for the next few years due to new budget constraints.

Which do you suppose projects Covid further? The Tuba, Trombone, or Trumpet?

Not so fast, my friend. The trombone would project more of the particles further as there is less obstruction (valves, etc) in the trombone than the other two instruments. Could be aimed more precisely to weaponize the virus dispersal more effectively as well

Totally agree DTW, I also sure hope we all commit to not falling for political traps...people have to know that Fox, OAN, Newsmax, Limbaugh, Levin, Breitbart, InfoWars, etc. are political propaganda outlets for the current occupant of the White House and poisonous to reasonable dialogue. I would have to add MSNBS, CNN, Mother Jones, Mediate to your list of propaganda outlets poisonous to reasonable dialogue. All of these outlets (on both sides of the issue) are cherry picking and highly contextualizing their output. And it is getting damn near impossible to get source data without a great deal of effort. It is de-moralizing to me as most of us still have the trivia of making a living to get in the way of being full time researchers

Most of it is just trash. Trying to divide all of us.
