Something a whole lot bigger is going down, thereby the reason to have eyes look elsewhere and with the eyes, hopefully a good degree of attention. When it is learned of, hopefully - as to their thinking - a whole lot of the impact that would have occurred in real time - will no longer be attached.

Soung reasoning NRK. I think u r right.

Two of them are incredibly stupid and shouldn't be rules. Why the hell shouldn't a team that wins a national championship be able to have that trophy displayed where recruits go? Former player training current player? Seems like something that should be allowed as both have connections to the university and through that have a legit connection to each other. I get limiting contact with recruits, but those two seem stupid, particularly the first.

Sounds like a classic "nothing to see here people" instance. Ok we admit it, we made improper contact etc, we won't do it again! Just don't check our bank accounts or talk to the kids about the bagmen and cars they received. Have a nice day! -saban

The most interesting violation stemmed from a trophy being "temporarily placed in an area where prospects taking an official visit would be."

Oh, nice...

"Hey, where did you leave those crystal footballs?"

"I put them on the 50-yard line of Bryant-Denny just like you.....errrr.....you know, that's a really good question. I will retrace my steps. I am sure they'll turn up."
