7000 Mile trip to 'The Game'
So I made it from Amman- Jordan to Chicago and drove down to columbus in 2 days.. My thoughts on the experince if anyone cares:
1- You can't beat the officials, so whatever!!!!
2- We had a huge cheer in C deck where we were seated as Michigan fans when the replay of the 4th down was put on screen, we were sure he didn't make it, then we all went quite when we smartly considered the original call on the field and the impossibility by officials to overturn it! I truly believe that the refs feared a riot if they overturned the call
3- OSU staff were really nice to Michigan fans in Columbus and in the Stadium, even police were nice, and in many instances the fans. I'm guessing there is a campaign to mellow down the aggressivness towards Michigan fans so as to avoid trouble that has happened in the past. I'm mentioning this because I was disappointed there weren't more Michigan fans at the game and I'm guessing they were worried about the hostility of the stadium and City.. Honestly based on this year's experince it was false advertising.
4- The 7000 mile trip was worth it for me, now 7000 miles back is what waits for me.. sadly with too many what ifs in mind, but whatever, I'm proud of our boys and all that was done on the field, I know deep down inside that Michigan won it, and you should've all experinced the quite stadium post that fourth down play..... THAT WAS PRICELESS.. though I wish it stayed quite!
In all, in 2 years when Michigan plays OSU I really hope we can get a lot of fans down to that OSU game just to support our players, who against all odds (injury, officials, turnovers, etc) were in that game and should've won it fair and square!
One day I will learn how to add images from my laptop to blog entries!
till next year GO BLUE

If there ever actually was a Fandom Badge for dedication, it would be yours and your alone.
Incredible respect for the effort and the love of Michigan motivating this journey, and if you need help getting those images posted, there are tons of people here that can help - we would love to see them, I am sure.

"We need to support our team in full force in 2018. "
I'm with you, but no matter how much you support the team if you have an all ohio officiating staff, you're going to lose. That game could have been played at home and we still would have lost.

glad you had fun and glad to hear that they are not the neanderthals that I believe them to be.

Sorry you traveled all that way to see a rigged game. Seems like you had a good time, though. You seem to be taking it better than I would.
