However,  I think he's selling Woolfolk short. He never struck me as THE liability in the secondary, especially considering that he was asked to pull off a mid season position switch.

A guy that wasn't mentioned is Cullen Christian who was no slouch as a recruit. Dorsey made headlines so he completely overshadowed Christian, but wasn't Cullen considered a better corner whereas Dorsey was a safety?

Michigan's secondary lacks glamour, but I think we have enough stock to find a Tyler Sash and Amari Spievey somewhere in there. Time will tell.

Doc Sat seems to be forgetting a certain Cullen Christian and a certain Marvin Robinson.  He says,

"...The starting secondary, at best, will consist of a nondescript senior who was regularly targeted by opposing offenses in his first year as a starter (cornerback Troy Woolfolk); a former walk-on (safety Jordan Kovacs); and two new starters who have either barely played (corner J.T. Floyd) or not played at all (any of three or four candidates at free safety). None of whom comes with anywhere near Turner's advance hype, athletically; only sophomore Vlad Emilien, a candidate at free safety, was considered better than a middling three-star recruit coming in, and no one has proven those projections wrong on the field."

Cullen is a top-8 corner, rated higher than Dorsey was; and Marvin is a consensus 4-star safety.  When even the esteemed Doctor is overlooking Wolverines, I have to believe Michigan is going to surprise a lot of people this year.

This is year three. It's time to put the "empty cupboard" excuse aside.
