Devin Gardner simulating QB Chris Relf per Detroit News
Here's some "thought provoking content" for you; how not awesome is Chris Relf going to look like come 1/1/11 after the D has been practicing against Gardner all week?
Hint: not awesome.
Oh, and isn't Gardner 6'4", not 6'1"?
Edit:
Recruiting profiles for the heck of it:
Chris Relf (NR):

Devin Gardner (position rating #1):

I repeat, Chris Relf is not going to look awesome to the UM D come 1/1/11.

So Gardner's back must be all better! Thank God.
Looks like those 8 games off, and the related redshirt, did wonders for his documented injury.

No paper trail please!

I'm pretty sure a small family could live in the expanse of that jacket...

I think Big Will Campbell would have some room in that jacket

It's really hard to find a cheap tailor when you are that tall. That's why TPryor prefers custom.

In Ohio they call that 'Vette his "tattoo"

Tell me about it. I'm 6'4, but my weight fluctuates between 215-230. I dread having to go to a funeral, wedding, or some other formal function.

I thought you can't practice with the team and get medical redshirt clearance

trying to redshirt Gardner. This is what the SEC does all the time. Promise a kid he will play as a freshman, get him a couple of early games, then invent a "season ending" injury to allow for a redshirt, when the guy isn't really that injured. Obviously, if he is well enough to play Relf on the scout team, he is well enough to play and we should not even ask the NCAA for a redshirt. It would be in bad faith, and we cannot afford to do anything in bad faith. Of course, regardless of our current probation, we should be above this sort of thing anyway. Their apparent willingness to do this is one thing I do NOT like about the current staff, even though I am generally a supporter. What do others think about this?

He shouldn't have played in the early games......I think that was proven.....
