I don't have ESPNU in HD!!!!!!!!!!!! No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't watch SD anymore, I have become a HD snob. I might have to find a local watering hole.

I called comcast just to check to see if espnu is available in HD but not properly listed yet. No such luck. By the way, you're not a HD "snob"...you just prefer a good picture.

is demanding a lot of extra $$ from carriers for the U in HD. Locally, only DirectTV has it in HD. Sucks! HD was invented for football! Seriously - the first time I saw football in HD was when I decided that HD was no longer a want but a need.

First time I saw football on the new 3D TV's I got a headache and said "Who would buy such a ridiculous thing".

uverse carries ESPNU in HD.

Be sure to create a new board topic asking where to watch the game instead of checking the sticky post. It's the new popular thing to do.

to bang your avatar. I plan to +1 her every day hoping she'll reward me for my effort.

will the game be on espn360?
September 30th, 2010 at 9:40 PM ^
No. Which is why I plan on watching it illegally online elsewhere.
September 30th, 2010 at 9:40 PM ^
Games on the U have NOT been on espn360/espn3. Maybe something has changed?

Comcast Chicago Areas 1,4&5 - Channel 253 - ESPNUHD

For those of you looking for the game, and don't currently have it, just order it for the day.
Most companies pro rate it, so if you only order the U for the day it costs like .25 cents. At least that is what they do for charter around here.

Not the assholes at Comcast, all they offered was a upgrade to the next tier. I'm sure they will charge for the upgrade and downgrade plus 1 month of service so it will cost $50. I'm more than willing to do pay per view but they won't make any accommodation.

I called this AM and upgraded from my basic Comcast package to one that included ESPNU. It was explained to me that it would cost my $4 for just the day ($1.99 sign-on and then another $1.99 sign-off fee, or I could get it for the month for $7 with the option of cancelling early it which case the fee would be prorated. So: pretty cheap for my fix; I'm not sure I really want to know how much I would have paid if I needed to.

Until this post I didn't know ESPNU wasn't available in HD. I mean who watches ESPNU?
September 30th, 2010 at 10:28 PM ^
i watch it. I consider the show, "The Experts" pure comedy whenever Matt Millen is on the show.
Everyone should get uverse. I am coming off of directv. uverse is 100x much better for a better price.

it is to select cable cable providers around the country. I have it and the previous chicago post has it.

I've had ESPNU HD for about a year. I watch it when there are Michigan games on, and anything else I find relevant, including Michigan basketball and hockey, and other teams of interest.
Nice to have it, especially tomorrow at 3:30PM.

of your thread makes me feel like I'm being yelled at.

you stupid DIP WAD?!?
I'm sorry. I just... get testy sometimes. I'll make it up to you baby.
September 30th, 2010 at 10:54 PM ^
I'll be counting on the liveblog to come through with a stream.
September 30th, 2010 at 11:18 PM ^
I called my cable company today to ask for the prorated access to ESPNU and they gave it to me for free for a month. So I'd say call your cable company and ask....can't hurt
September 30th, 2010 at 11:23 PM ^
with a game in front of it, I hope ESPNU doesnt waste our time showing the last 2 minutes of a game we dont care about before cutting to the REAL GAME.....GO BLUE!

How many new threads do we need to discuss this topic, I'm pretty sure this is the 3rd. There isn't even any new information in this one. It's almost a copy/paste from the last one I read.

checked my comcast channel listings for the area of michigan where i live and no ESPNU HD... i have the sports package so i get normal ESPNU... i'm debating to call them when i get home from work today to see if its offered... HD would make listening to pam ward a little more bearable...
October 1st, 2010 at 9:08 AM ^
Pam Ward is doing play by play for this too, how horrible.
