Smart choice, I remember hearing a stat that China will have 300 million people that play basketball at least recreationally, casually, etc. So quite the audience to sell to.

On-topic, it's called Li Ning, not La-Ning. Apparently, they also have (or had) shoe deals with Baron Davis, Shaq, and Jose Calderon. Their website shows just the Baron Davis Doom shoes. Apparently, they have their US HQ and flagship store in Portland, OR (Nike's backyard). They also push tai-chi, kung-fu and badminton gear on their site. And don't laugh about badminton - i have Chinese friends who could put a hole in your head with a shuttlecock.
