Who steps up with Turner gone?

Who steps up at corner with Turner out? I can't imagine that any of our incomming freshmen corners are going to red shirt now. Does Cullen Christian become the nickel back? Who's the dime back? Do you think anyone else will get moved to defensive secondary? I'm only a fan but my guess is Cullen Christian is our 3rd CB and James Rodgers is the dime back.

I would be surprised if Teric Jones doesn't move back to corner, because I doubt he'll play with all the talent at safety (e.g. Bandit).

That being said, JT Floyd was penciled in to be the starter on September 4th.  So I don't know that anyone needs to "step up" to take Turner's place.

Furthermore, we didn't use a nickel back at any point in 2009.  Steve Brown was our nickel corner.  Whether that Spur position is played by Thomas Gordon, Floyd Simmons, Michael Williams, or freshmen (Furman, Johnson), you're probably not going to see nickel packages in 2010, either.

redshirt...but competition will determine this.  Michigan can ill afford to redshirt anyone who can contribute at all.  Teric has speed on his side.  He almost caught Roundtree, which puts him one step behind Terry Hawthorne - who didn't play too badly for a freshman.
