OT: Mike Valenti Auditioning for WFAN Job This Week, Might Leave Detroit
97.1's Mike Valenti is doing an on-air audition at WFAN in New York this week, looking to replace Mike Francesca. He's on the air today, Thursday and Friday.

He can be entertaining at times but he has a low sports IQ, especially when it comes to football and baseball. He will need a co-host to carry him if he gets the job. Otherwise it will be a total clown show and the New York audience will eat him alive.
I actually enjoy him when he's not talking Michigan football.
I want to love WTKA more in the afternoon, but they've talked more about the 1997 season than the players spent playing the games.
