Talking Cars Tuesday: Your first true love.
Okay; I like this thread, it helps me get through the dark no football period. So even though its late I thought I'd throw something out there to keep it going.
What was your first true automotive love? The one that really hooked you on cars?
For me it was when the 5.0 liter mustang came back in the fox body as the GT. My uncle got one. It seemed amazingly powerful for its day. I still remember the commercials 'The Boss is Back'.
Had a lot of work travel recently and no time on Tuesdays.
Anyways, to your question, my first love was and is all things Porsche. Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed was addictive to a 12 year old with a PS1 in his basement.
I've always wanted a 75 911 Turbo in british racing green. I'm resigned to the fact that I will most likely someday have a '14-16 Cayman S.
The aerodynamic look really appealed to me. Oddly enough, I grew up to own boxes: a 1982 VW Jetta, a 1992 Jeep Cherokee Sport, a 2004 Honda Odyssey....
