per the west virginia website, 2nd team all-big ten and 1st team all-freshman women's bballer has transferred. she'd sat out the postseason run to the women's nit for personal reasons.
bummer, she can really play.
She's going to have to sit out a year. But, I guess with women's ball and no big NBA money out there for underclassmen, it doesn't matter so much.

Heard about this last night listening to West Virginia sports radio. They did not explain the reason for the transfer. They did spend a lot of time on the pronunciation of her first name.
The tone of their commentary was not gloating about poaching a Michigan player. They just seemed happy to get a good athlete.
I wonder if she took finals at umich/ how she gets around the academic portion of making up credits? Anyways being from SWMI she, her sister, and her mom were all ballers. I think her dad has been in trouble and may be now but don't quote. Certainty that is not reflective of her character.
