OT: What are your Top 5 life moments?

Submitted by Abomb4480 on
Playing off of an earlier thread, curious to know, what is your top 5? Mine: Marrying my wonderful wife. Birth of my children. The day I was hired for my first "real" job. Leading my basketball team to its first title in many years (as a coach). The day Harbaugh finally came home. What are yours? By the way, I'm not much of a fan of WD, but c'mon, who are any of us to tell someone else what the most important days in their lives are?

Marriage and birth of my two girls are easily top three. First time attending Michigan game as a family when my girls were 5 & 7. Then kind of cheating on this one, but those little moments in life when you start to see who your children are going to be.

For the record all of these moments where well past college.

1. The days my son and daughter were born, never thought I would be a father.

2. The day I got married

3. The day my mom passed away, still think about her every day

4. The day I bought my house, I lived in apartments since I was born.

5. Rose Bowl 98' sat on the 50 yard line and never left my seat one time. Still the best memory outside my family I've ever witnessed.

Late to the party, but I'll join in: 1. Birth of my daughters. 2. Moving across the country to Arizona to be with my then fiancee. 3. Moving back across the country 5 years later to Ann Arbor with my wife. 4. Getting offered the position I had specifically worked towards since my first day at my company. 5. The very last play of my very last football game as I made the decision right then and there that after 8yrs of playing, I wasn't going to pursue any of the walk-on offers I got.
