I don't thinkthat this has anything to do with his players. It would be the lamest "fire up" attempt of all time if it was.
I think that it is just a joke about how satellite camps are way too expensive for Hawaii to throw one in Michigan without charging $15,000 per camper. He's showing Michigan because Michigan is holding one in Hawaii. I think it has nothing to do with the fact that they play Michigan this year.

He is not a coach like the SEC coaches, Bif 12, PAC 12, etc. who just say shit about Harbaugh because he does shit they haven't thought of. The majority have like budgets - whatever it takes - equal, often far easier access to superor talent, yet Jim walks away with the prize far too often. He is, simply, proven so far to be bettter than they, and that's a bitch of a pill to swallow.
Now the Hawaii coach get about 1.5 million a year. Good money, no doubt, great climate, 365 days a year being challenged with "should I really not party tonight?" I live that half the year. Never gets easier. But his budget, program, everything inovled is coming with the, "I'll never have the chance to prove how good I am," but as is the case with all those that look for an excuse, it's too easy to forget he started out even lower where he was even the no. 1 program in his city, let alone state.
Manner of voicing frustration involves a hell of a lot of options. But, for some reason, I think Jim will understand this one more. He is not accusing him of cheating because he has found - and this is where he doesn't get enough credit from his P5 colleagues - the balls it takes in a lt of instances to find another path within the rules and have the courage to follow it simply because it's never been done or what others might think is silly. Yeah,a coach that tucks his sweatshirt into his khakis gives a shit about what others might think. I think it's easier for him to open a can of whupp ass for these. They actually have the opportunity to follow suit, yet their inhibitions - something Jim would consider just as ridiculous on their part as his willingness to break w/the norm to build this damn thing the right way - so hell yeah, they want to laugh? Get ready for Whupp Ass 101. Have no timee for ignorance on my calendar.
