One Frame At A Time: Spring Game Comment Count

Ace

That is a man who realizes he's home, at long last. The score may only be 7-0 in the waning moments of the game, the stadium may only be half-full, this whole thing may only be an exhibition, but it's impossible to repress that smile.

10. Edge Rush

Joe Bolden had such a strong performance he had to be included in here somewhere.

9. Helicopter Coach

He'll probably try to do this in an actual game.

8. Trickery

Third time's the charm.

7. Yes, It's Legal

A wild touchdown appears!

6. This Throw Seems To Work

Part One:

Part Deux:

5. Swing And A Miss

Fine, fine, blown assignments abound here, but Lawrence Marshall is still quite athletic.

4. Somehow, Nobody Chanted "Just Like UConn"

That's an impressive pick by Desmond Morgan, reminiscent of the one he had in a game we shall never speak of again.

3. POWER

It may have been the only big run of the day, but at least it featured impeccable blocking.

2. Harbaugh Out

Really hoping this is how Harbaugh leaves every home game, or at least all the wins.

FRAMES OF THE GAME: FIRST DOWN, BLUE

For starters, this is a very impressive pick by Brandon Watson, and an overlooked play by Jarrod Wilson to lay the hit that jarred the ball loose. Then Shane Morris gets both hands involved signaling for a first down, and this takes top GIF honors.

I don't think that Watson pick ever holds up in a game. He comes down on top of the other player then bounces out of bounds. I don't think his knee ever came down in play. Still a great play though and good awareness. Can he play receiver too?

I already think I know him well enough to know he's looking at the quarterbacks eyes to see how he's approaching the huddle. Is he exuding confidence? Is he takiing control? No detail too small.

He's smiling because the spring game doesn't mean a damn thing. It's great for the fans and everything but we have Graham Glasgow and Braden on one team, Kalis, Cole, and Magnuson on the other team. It's not what our OL will actually look like. The last time we saw our actual offense, we scored 28 in the horseshoe. He knows that there will be fodder from a useless spring game and he likes that MSU and Ohio State are overconfident right now just like USC in 2007.

The Watson pick- is this actually a pick? I thought about this when it happened as well. No part of his body touches down in bounds after he catches the ball. When the offense rolls on another player, the player is not down and can keep moving. I really wonder if this is a completed interception by rule.

I love how old school Harbaugh is. Jim comes in and completely changes the weight room from flashy and new, to plain and strong. Jim decides Michigan will bring back helmet stickers, and white socks. Jim is slowly installing his old school, intense, hard working approach, which will has already begun paying dividends and will continue to. We are finally in good hands, but now the pressure is immense and greater than either Jim or UM has faced in quite some time, if not ever. It was no secret Michigan needed QB's. Harbaugh gets Gentry to flip, gets Malzone to reaffirm his commitment, gets O'Korn to transfer from Houston, gets Ruddok to transfer for one season, and gains a commitment from Brandon Peters in just over two months.

Start working at home with Google! It's by- far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home  at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail.

I think it is the CRILE--the one where you are happy, and emotional, so you smile and the tears are welled up. The satisfaction of the whole countenance is what captures me. This is a man at home, at peace, and he just can't grasp the wholeness of it. It is what heaven would be.

You've got to appreciate the tenacity that our D played with, even though it was just a spring game. Guys were out there getting after the ball and trying to create those elusive turnovers. They played well most of the games last season and didn't get the appreciation that was due. This season will be the year that everyone knows how good our D is, especially with the Durkin ballhawk mentality. I'm thinking a top 5 finish for them, statistically speaking.
