I know he's gone. Trust me, I beat that drum hard since last year! However, if the NCAA can't prove that he took anything from an agent is he technically still eligible? I assume he's been courted so it's just a hypothetical thing. Are the rules the same or did they change the deadline/verbal rules of declaring?

I like Funch a lot and wish him luck, but I thinks he's gonna be a bust. No seperation, not a great route runner, drops balls, and my biggest issue is he clearly quit on team. He didn't try as hard towards the end of the season.

I think Funchess should be a TE/WR hybrid. Maybe he can make it as a full time WR but I didn't really get to see enough this season.

Why would you want a playboy prima donna poser as the QB of your team? Stafford isn't great but I'd take him over RGIII any day of the week. Chemistry has a lot to do with it, as well as overall play. RGIII has taken the Mayweather approach to sports that it's all about his brand and how much money he'll make. Screw the teams success, it's all about me.

Now we know who will fill the void for Crabtree the next couple season by giving us 5 atches for 30 yards a game. Not a shot at Funchess because he is what he is but I will be pissed if that were the pick. The team needs to try to fill other needs or get out of the first round if he is the only receiver in their part of the draft.

On mgoblog, I can see why the university of michigan has fallen to a unimaginable place in regards to football. This kid Attended a school that many of you profess you love, but you continue to down or berate your own. The same people who are talking mess about funchess will be the first ones on the bandwagon if he's successful at the next level. It's either you role wit em or you don't. Trying to discredit Todd makes you look even more foolish, given his credentials and his job. I have no horse in this race, so I can care less. I just find it ridiculous to attack your own.

Don't listen to espn ladies and gents. Why listen to them when you got an expert who's done it, right here! It's clear looking at the Lions roster they need desperately another WR or a TE. Preferably ones who have weight issues or can't stop smoking the Wacky Tabacky. Since Matt Stafford throws sidearm a lot and misses some guys at times it might work out well to draft a WR who runs horrible routes. Maybe the missed throw would be a perfect pass with a bad route ran to deep or angly. Trust me everyone, I know what I'm talking about. I have a magical mustache and I drafted the hell outta of the picks, baby! The bar is high....
