Have we considered how this is going to affect recruiting? It's bad enough that parents and future athletes have been inundated with this the last couple of days, but I'm sure other coaches will use it to negatively recruit against us. This will get worse before it gets better.

I don't think it's any mistake that comments about Shane's possible head injury have been left out by Brady Hoke. It doesn't seem that Shane has a concussion. I'm obviously just speculating, but stay with me.

After the game trainers looked at Morris, evaluated both his ankle and possible head injury, and only the ankle was an injury. At this point, Brady and Brandon are not liable for the consequences that would have arisen if Shane were concussed, since it didn't happen. Therefore, why comment on it at all? They're not dumb, they're aware of the coverage and what it's really about. They can say whatever they want about medical clearance because it didn't amount to anything.

If Morris were concussed, Hoke is gone today. Since he wasn't, hey, there's a rug Brandon is holding up so Brady can sweep the whole thing under it.

This is just the last straw for a coach that has not developed his players, puts a poor product out on the field and appears to neglect the wellbeing of his players. It's just time to admit that in the very very near future the University needs to rethink how it wants to organize its football program and move in a new direction. When an organization fails to accomplish any of its goals in 3.5 years and there is no hope on the horizon for these goals to be achieved, then we need to move on to a better solution. The AD must move on and he can take his coach with him.
