U-M Hockey vs FYS - DitD Sat Open Thread
Well, to a fan, a 5-3 win over FYS is pretty satisfying, though it wasn't perfect. I think a team that loses the first night is going to bring better effort the next, and this season U-M hasn't been good at overcoming that to get the win. And getting a win is pretty important, given the 2nd place tie w/MN, being 2 pts ahead of ND, only 3 pts ahead of FYS, and 5 ahead of last place WI. Getting the highest seed possible for the BTT and winning it seems like the way to get to the NCAA.
So on to the Duel in the D in Pizza Pizza Arena.

Nah, he was well in the crease and made contact without any help from Sparty. It was a slick move but if you're making a move in the crease like that you have to try like hell to not touch the goalie.
