Recruiting numbers crunch

This seems to happen every year, and every year it works out, but it’s going to be interesting to see how we end this class

Currently we have 24 commit. If I squint my eyes really hard, I could see maybe four more spots available. Maybe. That would be 28 commits.

Left on the board as realistic options:

1. A WR.  Because we really need one

2. DT Karlifitis

3. DE Harrison

4  CB Jalen Perry

5. OT Keegan or Ike

6. LB/Athlete Crouch

7. LB Deloach

Probably a few more I’m missing.

Can you still sign to 88 then get down to 85 by fall? Or did they get rid of that?

Brian's idea of a yearly cap instead of a total cap makes a lot of sense. Since they just changed the redshirt rule, hopefully they will consider that soon.

Michigan won't get all these guys, and I'm sure we'll have a shake-up at the bottom end of the roster.  Every year people fret about space and every year it turns out fine, sometimes with an extra space.  So my guess is this class will wind up being around 28-30 and it won't be hard to find the spots.
